Support Options
- • 1:1 support — one worker supporting one participant
- • Shared support (1:2 or 1:3) — one worker supporting two or three participants
- • Higher-ratio support (e.g. 2:1) — two workers supporting one participant, where assessed
Support ratios are tailored to each participant's individual needs, goals and plan.
Accessibility
Treasure Island is wheelchair accessible, with accessible accommodation options available.
Companion Card accepted.
Participant Preparation
- • Plan personal spending money for outings & meals
- • Pack comfortable clothes, closed-in shoes, sun-safe gear & toiletries
- • Medication & health plans must be provided
How Funding Works
NDIS funding may cover eligible disability-related support and standard accommodation where short-term respite is included in the participant's plan and meets current NDIS requirements. Meals, attraction tickets, paid activities, souvenirs and personal spending are generally the participant's responsibility unless confirmed otherwise. All bookings are individually assessed and agreed before commencement.
Generally Covered by Eligible Funding
Disability-related support and staffing, plus standard accommodation, where included in the participant's plan and agreed in advance.
Generally a Personal Cost
Meals, theme park and attraction tickets, paid activities, souvenirs, optional outings and personal spending — unless confirmed otherwise.
